About :
I am an Optometry professional and Assistant Professor with a strong academic and clinical background in the field of Optometry. I have completed my Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) and Master of Optometry (M.Optom) and am currently pursuing a PhD in Optometry. My areas of academic and research interest include ocular health, binocular vision, myopia, glaucoma, teleoptometry, ocular nutrition, corneal disorders, and emerging technologies in eye care.

I am passionate about teaching and aim to provide students with a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and clinical skills. My teaching approach focuses on making complex optometric concepts simple, practical, and clinically relevant for students.

I have contributed to academic research through peer-reviewed publications and a book chapter, with research work covering areas such as ocular disorders, teleoptometry, myopia, accommodative function, and artificial intelligence-based detection of corneal conditions. I am also interested in interdisciplinary research and the application of modern technologies to improve eye-care delivery.

My professional goal is to contribute to optometric education, clinical practice, and research while continuously developing my knowledge and skills in the field of eye and vision care.
