About:

I completed my MVSc from the College of Veterinary Science, Guwahati (Assam), where my research focused on the carcass and quality characteristics of Kamrupa chicken, a native poultry dual purpose breed known for its adaptability and meat quality. During this work, I gained hands-on experience in meat science, carcass evaluation, quality assessment techniques, and scientific data interpretation.

I further pursued my PhD at ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar (Bareilly, U.P.), completing it in 2025. My doctoral research involved the development and evaluation of ghee-residue-incorporated versions of ‘Baal Mithai’ and its ready-to-cook (RTC) mix. This work strengthened my expertise in by product utilisation, product development, value addition, sensory evaluation, standardization. Together, these research experiences have enhanced my technical skills and deepened my understanding of both animal-origin foods and innovative product formulation.
