About the Program
The B.Sc. (Hons) in Forensic Science program equips students with in-depth knowledge and skills in crime scene investigation, criminalistics, forensic toxicology, pathology, and forensic psychology. Students will learn techniques for analyzing physical evidence such as DNA, fingerprints, and bodily fluids, along with understanding the principles of forensic law and the role of forensic experts in the justice system. Advanced courses include forensic ballistics, forensic toxicology, and the use of scientific instruments like microscopes and chromatography in forensic investigations. This program prepares students for careers in law enforcement, forensic laboratories, and legal consulting.
Eligibility
Passed 10+2 examination conducted by the CBSE or equivalent examination from a recognised board in science stream with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate
