About the Program
The B.Sc. in Genetics covers fundamental concepts such as Mendelian and non-Mendelian inheritance, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and microbial, plant, and human genetics. It includes practical training in microscopy, DNA extraction, PCR techniques, karyotyping, and bioinformatics. Advanced topics include genomics, medical genetics, evolutionary genetics, and ethical aspects of genetic research.
Eligibility
Passed 10+2 examination conducted by the CBSE with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent examination from a recognised board in science stream with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate
